    HarmonyE4 is a community choir for Highams Park singing a mixture of happy retro pop classics, the occasional Disney schmaltz, and whatever else takes their fancy! The choir is open to adults of all ages and abilities. Come and join them every second Monday at Winchester Road Methodist Church, Highams Park


Darius Condurache 12:40 to 13:10



  Darius is a Romanian saxophonist and pianist, living and studying in the UK. He is an exceptional local talent and an active performer currently fundraising for underprivileged children. He has played for the Dalai Lama and has played saxophone to raise funds for children in the Ivory Coast. We’re really looking forward to welcoming Darius back to Highams Park Day again this year. https://www.facebook.com/condurachedarius/

  HeadSpace is a songwriting collaboration between Paula David and Nigel Mear. HeadSpace have developed their own distinctive style and crafted a soulful collection of original songs with guitar and voice. Their debut EP captures the honesty of their music – beautifully crafted songs, revealing stories about life experience and the world we live in.



The Workhouse

14.00 to 14:30



The Workhouse are Stewart Allen and Phil Crombie.  They are a band that has had a wheel turning, in one way or another, under this name since 1987. They write, record, engineer, and perform all their own original material. Their intention has “always been to go in whatever direction the song we are writing at the time wants to lead us”. Performing locally they are often joined with much appreciated backing vocals from Esther Burns.



Alex Cambridge

14:40 to 15:10


“Songs that reflect maturity and lyrical ability beyond her years” were the words used to describe 24 year old British singer-songwriter Alex Cambridge. Her debut EP ‘Long Story Short’ gained over 30k Spotify streams with the lead single ‘Nostalgia’ featuring on numerous Spotify playlists. Two years later, Alex prepares to release her debut album where she opens up about “coming of age” offering honest lyrics and a more mature R&B infused sound.



Raw Academy

15:20 to 15:50


  RAW is an established Performing Arts Academy of 16 years and is continuing its reputation for excellence in training children and young adults in all areas of the Performing Arts for the stage and screen, and were awarded as Cultural Stars as part of the Waltham Forest Borough of Culture 2019.

RAW provides weekly workshops in Drama, Singing, Movement, and Specialised Workshops in Film and TV Acting, Script development, One to one Coaching, LAMDA tuition and RAW Personal Management Acting Agency. RAW Education facilitates in schools across London Boroughs, supporting the curriculum through the arts.
